Assistant Head Cook

The Assistant Head Cook works under the direction and supervision of the Head Cook to help prepare meals and help keep the food storage areas clean. An Assistant Cook ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists the Cook to prepare and arrange food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything required to run the kitchen efficiently.- Work with the Head Cook to coordinate and carry out the preparation of meals, using a variety of kitchen tools- Rinse and clean dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Store in cupboards, drawers and bins.
