Area Manager

Job Description:
Area Managers in Masungi Georeserve are in charge of the overall management of designated project sites in pursuance to its vision-mission.


Vision & Mission: To be a top geotourism destination in Asia and become a UNESCO Geopark by 2020 through environmental conservation, education and sustainable development via geotourism.


The Area Manager is expected to lead all field operations in coordination with the Overall Project Manager. This includes:


Supervising Staff Leading Guest Services and Service Delivery/Quality Property Management including Gardens, Trails, Structures, Facilities Community Relations Other important tasks he or she may be assigned to The role requires strong leadership skills with minimal supervision needed. For non-locals, on-site housing may be discussed. Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements


Strong leadership skills managing a diverse set of people; Critical thinking and problem solving skills on the field; Good communication and negotiation skills; Attention to detail on maintenance of property, trails, gardens and structures; Willing to work mostly outdoors in the project site at Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from Metro Manila); At least 2 years experience in relevant roles; Passion for environmental conservation and the outdoors.
