MakatiClient Industry: FINANCIAL SERVICES Job Description and Qualification: The Analytics Head is fully responsible for all the company's analytics solutions in the APAC region including modeling solutions, and the management of all related activities. This position is responsible for directing the execution and coordination of all activities pertaining to the design, development and implementation of generic and custom analytic solutions.The Analytics Head is responsible for achieving the annual revenue targets for analytics solutions and for continually expanding and enhancing the company's analytics solution suite. Consults with customers and various products, sales and IT partners within the organization in regards to the analytics solution strategy and capabilities needed to meet customer’s needs. Supports pre-sales activity including account planning, select RFP responses, customer presentations, solution demonstrations and ROI analysis where necessary. Responsible for developing and maintaining the company's analytics solution strategy across APAC.
Responsible for managing and supporting long-range strategies for all new and existing analytical services, decision support products and related consulting services.
Works with internal and external customers to identify customers’ short- and long-term analytic needs. Constructs plans to develop and/or obtain the capabilities to meet these needs.
Identifies and recommends the exploration of economically attractive products and/or services. Applies analytical and technical knowledge customers with advice and direction. Independently addresses complex implementation and technical issues when consulting with customers.
Oversees and directs the work of managers and seasoned professionals. Assists them in completing their annual work assignments. Develops tactics for completing annual and longer-term goals and objectives of the department. Ensures that policies and procedures are taught to and followed by the entire unit.
Develops network of external and internal analytical consultants. Hires and manages appropriate external consultants when necessary for accomplishing the team’s business objectives. Responsible for managing the department’s intern program, ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of analytic work provided by this organization.
Maintains effective communication among internal business units and external customers to ensure the efficient completion of work that will meet the needs of all parties.
Represents the business unit at a variety of different forums. Explains and demonstrates the products and services offered by the unit. Helps identify strategies and opportunities for customers to use the business unit’s services and products.
Collaborates with sales associates and Business Development, assisting their efforts to uncover new sales opportunities that contribute towards company’s long-term revenue stream.
Develops and writes project proposals, sales presentation and promotional materials. Provides sales support by presenting results and/or preparing documentation as needed to provide support of customer solutions. Coordinates the work of others in the group to ensure that customers receive total integrated solutions.
Develops and manages the unit’s annual budget. Investigate and justify investments in staff, hardware and software required to maintain and develop analytical capabilities, including determining fit with company’s tactical, strategic and financial objectives.
Responsible for the design, development and management of all custom and generic analytical services, from initial consultations with potential customers through integrating the completed analytical solution into customers’ business processes.
Directs and allocates department resources towards the investigation and research of new processes, resources and technologies that can potentially be implemented to provide improved customer solutions or to broaden company’s analytic consulting and related services capabilities. Consults with customers and third-party vendors to introduce and integrate new/improved target marketing, account decisioning, and account management solutions.
Provides creative solutions and direction towards to the completion of project proposals, sales presentations and promotional materials.
Manages staff including, hiring, training, career development and advancement, performance evaluations, and salary reviews.
Provides and facilitates subject matter expertise to due diligence teams for potential partnerships and/or acquisitions to support the business unit.
