They lead the Venture's pilots/experiments related to agronomy, manage the Venture's programs from the Agronomic point-of-view, and ensure that the Venture's Customer-Facing Team can explain the benefits of the agronomic protocol & are able to check grower compliance.The Agronomy & Data Manager is expected to represent Bayer in a professional manner, championing corporate policies with respect to safety, business conduct, respect in the workplace and compliance in the performance of their duties and activities.**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Ideate, execute & manage the Venture's (UProsper) agronomic programs - integrating such to the Venture's product offer.- Coordinate, gather feedback & align with other agronomy experts within Bayer to ensure that the Venture's agronomic programs are relevant, timely and that the right priorities are set.- Identify the key information needed and analyze the progress of the Venture's agronomic programs, and provide feedback & suggest iterations to the Venture Team & implementing partners.- Work with external & internal Venture partners to lead Data Management, quality review and timely submission of program results, ensuring the integrity of data.- Identify & prioritize agronomic use cases (pilots/experiments) that the Venture's data science team can work on, considering the Venture's current business needs.- Identify opportunities & provide feedback as to how we can leverage on data & technology to improve farmers' agronomic practices & the Venture's ways of working (for example, utilizing IoT & farm management apps).- Manage all other pilots/experiments related to agronomy with the help of external partners (for example, utilizing IoT & farm management apps).- Coordinate, align and report with the Venture team to check progress on use case' modeling & other current pilots/experiments, providing feedback from their agronomy experience.- Work with Venture sales/ customer marketing to categorize and validate key product features and benefits for support material.- Crafting training materials & presentation kits to explain the Venture's agronomic programs- Work with Venture sales team to achieve local business objectives through technical support and training.
