DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ADMITTING PROCEDURES:Gets relevant data/information from patient/sEnsures completion of patient informationRecords and updates RECORD OF ADMISSIONS Ensures signing of consent formCoordinates availability of room for patientExplains rates/charges to patients/relativesInforms patients/relatives re: special procedures and ensure that deposit has been paidHMO COORDINATION:Knows HMO procedures for out-patient, in-patient, emergency casesSecures approval from patients' HMO regarding charges/billingsVerifies relevant information re: patients' status with HMOsRECORDING PATIENTS' FEEDBACK:Consolidates patients' feedback as written in the Evaluation FormsInputs patients' feedback in the computer Regularly prepares and submits reports to management re: patients' feedbackB. SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:Trains incoming Admitting staff/trainees. Performs other functions as may be deemed necessary from time to time.Reports To: Hospital Admissions Head
