ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST (PORTUGUESE SPEAKING)As an Accounts Receivable Specialist (Portuguese Speaking), you will manage all Accounts Receivable (AR) processing activities and ensure there are performed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with JTI policies, procedures and controls.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
You will manage the processing of AR transactions; incoming receipts, AR clearing, sundry invoices and credit notes, check customer payment proposal reports and bad debts write-offs.
You will ensure all activities related to month-end closing reports are performed with quality and within the given timeframe and generate routine analysis.
You will ensure control and compliance within the Global Operation Guidelines, and be responsible for executing J-SOX controls that meet internal/external audit standards.
You will be given the opportunity to review current processes for process improvement
You will demonstrate your team player abilities and support to the Team Lead, your team mates and other process teams and projects.
YOU ARE:A college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field
Experienced in working in an accounting related role at a multinational company or GBS for at least 1 year
Able to interpret and apply professional accounting standards and principles (i.e IFRS), and have a strong understanding of direct and indirect tax accounting
An English good communicator with fluency in Portuguese
Adept with data management and have an understanding of an enterprise structure.
Well-versed in MS Office applications and SAP
