Accounting Manager

**Specific Functions**:- Oversees the site Accounting operations of the company, to include the maintenance of adequate system of accounting records, comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.- Ensures the implementation of policies, measures and key activities that support the accurate and on time financial reporting.- Reviews and recommends action for team feedback, analysis and solutions to support in minimizing cost and maximizing profit.- Safeguards the financial interests of the company and ensures alignment of the set standards as determined by NPI's Distributors Business Model.- Maintains a documented system of Accounting policies and procedures- Recommends benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.- Enhances the effectiveness of staff function to align and cater the Operations needs without compromising control and sales performance.- Continuous review and coaching of team performance against objectives and competencies.- Identify development needs and opportunities of the team and ensure appropriate actions to be taken to address any gaps.- Other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate head.***PEOPLE MANAGEMENT**- Facilitates regular/continuous review and coaching of team performance against objectives and competencies;- Facilitates identification of development needs and opportunities of team and ensures appropriate actions are taken to address these;- Conducts regular formal appraisal and assessment of team in line with Siy Group of Companies guidelines.**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- Management & Leadership Skills- Communication, Presentation & Negotiation Skills- Knowledge of functional roles in the organisation- Understanding of Marketing objectives, strategies and action plans- Understanding of competitive trade and Industry structures- Knowledge of issues on trade concentration & managing modern trade- Knowledge of sales & distribution systems- Knowledge of Finance & Control systems & procedures**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**- Graduate of college degree BS in Accountancy- Must be Certified Public Accountant- Minimum 4 years Finance Management experience in FMCG environment or Distributor Operations**Salary**: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Company events- Health insurance- Promotion to permanent employeeSchedule:- 8 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Midsayap, Cotabato: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
