Estimating

• Preparation of a Bill-of-Material for project cost estimation and project cost management

• Providing accurate, market competitive cost estimates to the sales team

• Analyse plans, project documents and inventory costs to estimate for products to manufacture

• Estimations are to include:

o Pricing

o Manufacturing / Delivery timings

o Inclusions, exclusions and assumptions within the required timeframe

• Accurately assess fit for purpose with regards to the client’s scope of work required when providing cost

estimate

• Close liaison with Design team / Operations team / Production team

• Create a separate bill of materials (BOM) with the estimate

• Identify risk and provide solutions via liaison with sales, related to scope of work or site requirements

• Develop standard operating procedures for routine tasks

Reporting

• Volume of completed Estimates

• Attend weekly focus meetings

• Attend one on one monthly meetings with the team leader

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the Development and maintenance of pricing tools for accuracy and usability.

Safety

• High visibility clothing/vest and safety glasses are worn whilst in or moving about the production, warehouse

and yard areas

• Safety standards are met and satisfied as detailed in HSE manual
