- Responsible for z/OS installation and customization
- Responsible for System architecture design and implementation
- Responsible for Storage configuration and management.
- Provides performance management activities for all z/OS systems in large data center environment.
- Performs ongoing monitoring and analysis and makes recommendations for performance improvements and efficiencies.
- Provides technical leadership to development, scheduling, database admin, and operations groups.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate of any IT/Computer related Bachelor's Degree course
- Should have at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in z/OS environment.
- Highly experienced in supporting all aspects of z/OS environment, including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, and security related functions for a variety of solutions
- Hands on Experience is z/OS Upgrade, Maintenance
- Hands on Experience in Third Party Product Installation and Maintenance.
- Hands on Experience in RACF Security Administration Must have handled Audits.
- Hands on Experience in Storage Administration, Backup/Restore management
- Hands on experience in Mainframe Capacity Planning Reporting, SAS Programming.
- Hands on experience in CICS Administration
- Strong Technical problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication capabilities, ability to influence and successfully interface with others
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to manage risk appropriately
