Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:
Responsible in managing all aspects of warehouse activities such as shipping and receiving materials or goods, maintaining inventory levels and recording warehouse information including warehouse security, safety, and housekeeping. Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager 2nd line of Reporting to Sr. Warehouse Manager Follows health and safety requirements and assists in the implementation of company policies Shows good conduct consistent with the company standards during work and within the plant premises Efficiently implement and improve current Good Warehouse Practice Establishes goals and objectives for each section to meet overall departmental goals Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance Efficiently control expenses to align with departmental budget Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts and reconciliation Oversees the work of all warehouse personnel in maintaining the GWP Ensures dispatch of materials based on FIFO/FEFO system Plans and schedules tasks over short and long-range periods and assigns priorities for completion Responsible for the maintenance of all warehouse equipment and machineries Ensure that all personnel have the appropriate education and training to properly carry out the duties assigned to them and ensures that this training has been documented Reports any deviation or untoward incidents to superior immediately Assists in the operation of other sections and perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4-year Business course with relevant years of work experience Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor Can relate well with all levels of the organization and with assertive leadership skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Computer literate Can handle and train people effectively Has extensive experience in warehousing & inventory management
