Warehouse Manager

Job Description:
Shall see to it that all aspects and procedure on outgoing and incoming goods are properly adhered to. Shall approve receipt of goods’ deliveries to ensure that those received are free from damage/s or defect/s. Shall see to it that all outgoing documents are properly approved in accordance with company policy. Shall ensure that all defects and damages are properly disclosed in the receiving report before approving and for insurance claim. Shall oversee proper merchandise storage, handling and security. Devises and ensures strict implementation of security measures at the warehouse. Shall ensure that all merchandise discrepancies discovered inside the warehouse are duly reported. Ensure timely servicing of all requisition/s orders. Ensure timely and proper tagging of items. Monitors stock movement through maintenance of accurate stock records and reports. Furnishes other departments with the necessary reports regarding warehouse operation. Coordinates with all departments of the company in the development, monitoring and appraisal of warehousing activities, procedures, policies and requirements. Develops and appraise subordinates, delegating enough authority commensurate to their responsibility. Shall be responsible for the reconciliation of all discrepancies in the warehouse. Develop third party haulers that will service other delivery requirements. Develop forwarders that could best serve the company’s objective in servicing Visayas and Mindanao orders. Shall oversee that all department delivery vehicles are well maintained. Shall oversee that over-all maintenance of all the warehouse facilities/building. Coordinates with forwarders and third party haulers on all delivery requirements. Monitors and checks the billings of forwarders and truckers. Monitors and checks delivery performances of forwarders and truckers. Other matters that may be assigned by the GM from time to time. Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or any business-related course. With at least 5-years work experience in warehouse management. Must be computer literate. Willing to be assigned in Sta. Ana, Manila. Strong analytical and planning skills Good communication and presentation skills Excellent problem-solving skills
