Under the supervision of the CEO, this role aims to assure the successful execution of the company’s business mission.
Major job responsibilities include over-all strategic and operational leadership to business technology solutions, software engineering, technology infrastructure and information security. He will oversee customer experience management to ensure world class service delivery, recognizing new developments in technology and information systems; anticipating organizational modifications; establishing long-term needs; and strategic planning for developing systems to meet application needs and objectives and increase efficiency.
This requires envisioning the company’s service offerings as a multi-dimensional business, leading implementation of applications and services, and planning for risk and growth.
This key leadership position contributes to general business planning and activities regarding technology, products, services and systems required in maintaining and enhancing company’s operations and competitiveness. Central to the role is interaction with the organization core technology and consulting service offerings; hence the role is considered a central player in consistently strategizing and evaluating not only technology and information, but the constant positioning of those with the marketplace to keep the organization agile and competitive. The role should also ensure confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property and function as top level contact to assist end-users in determining Information System requirements and solutions.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. In partnership with company executive leadership, determines current positioning and then identifies opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of the marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.
2. Identifies technology trends and evolving market behaviors that may support or impede the success of our business and product/service offerings.
3. Evaluates and identifies appropriate technology platforms (including SaaS and Cloud application frameworks and the deployment stack) for engaging with clients/partners and delivering the company services.
4. Develops and establishes operating policies and approaches for computing and information technology.
5. Evaluates overall operations of technology, computing and information technology functions and recommends enhancements.
6. Identifies emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company.
7. Assesses new computing technologies to determine potential value for the company.
8. Oversees ongoing improvements and the feasibility of system enhancements.
9. Leads strategic planning to help achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and the deployment of all applications and services.
10. Directs and manages technology, computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and data processing computer services, applications development, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
11. Participates as a member of the senior executive management team in establishing governance processes for direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of software development, technology, information management, and consulting services.
12. Oversees the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
13. Guides SaaS and Cloud software and application product development from inception through phase-out in order to maximize business value. This includes overseeing product development, production, customer delivery, and service.
14. Advises senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives.
15. Prepares enterprise objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information.
16. Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs. This includes assessing customer needs, working in conjunction with clients in development of implementation efforts, crafting technical solutions, and developing new features for existing products.
17. Works directly with stakeholders (ownership, senior management, marketing, sales, engineering, finance, quality, manufacturing, installation, clients, etc.) to understand and refine the requirements for new features and turn those into practical product features.
18. Establishes a governance process that meets client, government, partner, and company expectations for customer information privacy.
19. Directs the information and data integrity of the company and its business units.
20. Interacts with company managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information.
21. Reviews and approves major contracts for technology, computing, and information technology services and equipment.
22. Ensures the security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
23. Directs development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
24. Consistently communicates the company’s technology strategy and value proposition to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
25. Enhances, develops, and builds further information technology.
26. Establishes and implements short-and-long-term-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
27. Works co-operatively with parent company or other subsidiary company divisions interdependently as required to carry out or execute joint and teamed initiatives or engagements.
28. Encourages and empowers a work culture of continuous learning, information sharing, and professional development.
29. Ensures compliance to company rules and regulations, which shall include but not limited to the Employee Code of Discipline, the policies on Quality Management System (QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), Environment Health & Safety (EHS), and Environmental Management System (EMS); and other duties and responsibilities prescribed for all employees.
30. Ensures compliance of all Non-Conformity Corrective Action Preventive Action Concessions (NCAPACs) and all audit findings within the prescribed period.
31. Ensures awareness and compliance of all employees to the facility’s existing house rules.
32. Reports security incidents and / or any identified security weaknesses.
III. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
1. Familiar with the different industries benchmarks and best practices.
2. Strong business acumen with ability to think conceptually, strategically, and tactically.
3. Ability to make a difference, set trends and make the organizations commercially successful because of the individual’s direct day-to-day involvement in leading and influencing the people assets.
4. Expertise in information technology, computer systems and software (ideally SaaS, Cloud, etc.).
