Job Description:
With the passion and experience in building a team, the Vice President of Partnerships – Educational Group is responsible for the company’s growth through increase in product sales volume, development of customer channels, strengthening the company’s brand to build customer loyalty and improve retention, recommend sales strategies and effective implementation, and enabling the staff to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Team Management Hire and develop sales staff Create a culture of success within the team and coach team members through constructive feedback, creating learning opportunities, and maintaining a positive and transparent environment Manage the sales team, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential Lead in-house seminars and workshops to help improve effectiveness and productivity of the team Deliver team sales KPIs Sales and Business Development Search, contact, visit, and engage (including generating leads, cold calling, pitching, negotiating/ensuring the signing of contracts, billing, collecting payments) prospective revenue-generating clients Strategy Develop and execute sales strategy, including generating insights from all current and prospective client interactions/sales activities and translating them into clear, actionable implications on sales approach Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team Liaison with other teams in the company Coordinate closely and regularly with the Product & Engineering, Marketing, and Senior Management teams to ensure that insight from sales activities are consistently raised to relevant stakeholders and translated to business Coordinate closely and regularly with Partnerships Operations and B2B marketing teams, especially with respect to supporting offline user acquisition efforts External Representation of Participate in community events to help promote Represent the company in external events and gatherings including but not limited to investor meetings, speaking events for any external parties such as students, parents, guidance counselors, teachers, professionals, foundations/corporate partners, etc
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree At least 8-10 years of experience in related fields with at least 4 direct reports Sales experience (B2B and B2C) Has experience working with school associations (ie CEAP, FAPE, COCOPEA, PAASCU, etc), preferred but not mandatory Passionate about and familiar with Education-Technology; committed to the advocacy Skilled and/or experienced in several research methods High impact presentation skills Entrepreneurial attitude Comfortable working with either local or foreign/international partners Ability to handle multiple tasks at once Broad network in the education industry Can work efficiently under pressure
