Our client is an ISO-Certified provider of flexible workspace solutions and staff leasing services in the Philippines.
They are looking for a US Tax Specialist with experience in international clients specifically in the US.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Should have more than 3 years of experience
- Should be able to meet and manage deadlines
- Should understand the process and be able to discuss with the accounting department any necessary changes based on how the taxes were completed so that the taxes match the financials such as depreciation and amortization entries and suggest the movement of deductions to reflect best on the tax return.
- Should also be able to communicate with the accounting department both in Manila and Miami to maintain deadlines and expectations of the clients.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions regarding accounting and tax matters
- Ability to perform and direct the broadest range of accounting tasks so that the direct participation of supervisors, managers, or partners is kept to a minimum RESTRICTED (Access Limited to Authorized Personnel)
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in Tax software (Ultra Tax and Lacerte), Excel, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented & able to multi-task
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Preparing and /or reviewing returns for individuals, partnerships or corporations, including federal, international, state and local tax returns, as well as computing estimated payment and extensions.

- Review and manage staff deliverables including tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, and write-up work for all entity types (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Fiduciary, gift, multi-state)
- Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
- Delegate projects to staff that can handle them most efficiently and provide accounting and tax assistance to staff as needed.
- Takes direction and reports to the Partners of the tax department.
- Assist with employee training for new hires and ongoing employee training based on new laws and firm changes.
- Manage the work of staff and senior associates on projects, personal and professional goals, and career development.
- Supervise staff which includes directing and instructing assistants, where applicable, in performing and reviewing work.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of technical training for professional staff and act as an instructor in professional development programs.
**Salary**: Php120,000.00 - Php170,000.00 per month
