RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the development of a structured, standardized, and consolidated set of services that optimally support business processes and applicationsIdentify, test, and implement enhancements and automation capabilities for data migrations, security best practices, environment builds, and operational management standardsServe as lead engineering resource on proofs of concept and projects that are leveraging cloud technologiesTroubleshoot and resolve complex problemsHandle support tickets from end usersREQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience With at least 8 or more years of overall IT experience.Preferably with 4 or more years of experience with Cloud (AWS and Azure experience preferred).Windows server patch management (WSUS, AWS Patch Manager, Azure Update Manager)Sound knowledge of IIS, SQL Server configuration and maintenance. Active Directory, Azure Entra setup and managementIntermediate Scripting capabilities in PowerShellAdvanced understanding of Windows operating systems and its functionality.Deploy various infrastructure monitoring solutions including CloudWatch, New Relic,Grafana, Azure Monitor. Monitor and respond to critical alerts to ensure stable production environments.Computer/Technical:Proficient in Microsoft office softwareCloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services and solutionsITIL (foundational level, but exposure to more detail than foundation is often necessary)
