Travel Agent

Job Description:
We are looking for a travel agent, who is passionate about traveling. You will manage travel requirements made for business.


Plan transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services; Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them the appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations; Provide relevant information, brochures and publications such as guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc,; Book transportation and make hotel reservations based from the approved budget Use promotional techniques; Deal with occurring travel problems and complaints; Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends; Maintain and monitoring record of employees being booked for business travels; Meet the approved budget for the employee's travel; Managing budget; Providing advice about VISA and process VISA if necessary Providing advice about passports; Minimum Qualifications:
Strong analytical and planning skills; Good communication and presentation skills; Excellent problem-solving skills; Planning transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services; Cooperating with clients to determine their needs and advising them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations; Providing relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc); Proven work experience as a travel agent; Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems and e-travelling; Fluency in English; Strong sales skills and commercial awareness; Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively; Knowledgeable in domestic and international travel trends; Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field; Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage; Independent travel agents Commercially aware Good interpersonal skills Numerical ability Verbal communication skills PREFERABLY SOMEONE WHO WORKED IN A TRAVEL AGENCY Has vast knowledge on booking plane tickets and hotel accommodation NON AGENT ROLE
