The Payroll and Benefits Supervisor will report directly to the HR Manager and will be a functional leader for key HR responsibilities specifically Compensation, Benefits and Payroll
Job Description:
Payroll Management
• Meets payroll operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
• Meets payroll financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
• Prepares pay by verifying time records; calculating and producing checks or electronic transfers; calculating and producing quarterly incentive bonuses.
• Balances payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies; initiating journal entries
.• Remits tax payments by collecting and verifying data; preparing national and local tax reports, and initiating payment
.• Defines standards and reusable approaches within the Payroll operational framework
.• Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes
.• May be accountable for ongoing management of effective client service relationship in one area of the business as the main point of contact for senior client representatives
.• All other and incidental tasks in relation to payroll management
Total Rewards (C&B) Administration
• Ensure compliance with national and local regulations concerning pay and benefits
• Managing health and safety within workplace including Clinic Management
• Choose and manage outside partners such as benefits vendors and clinic vendors
• Conduct market and trend analysis through salary survey input and market research on an annual and ad hoc basis.
• Ensure equitable pay ranges for all positions internally.
Review positions to ensure that they are classified correctly in the appropriate levels.
Assist with writing and revising job descriptions as needed, determining position classifications, and preparing and updating compensation ranges.

• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Administration
• Coordinate and supervise the work activities of specialists under the department
• Interpret and implement Human Resources policies regarding administration, benefits, compensation, etc.
• Make independent decisions (or escalate when appropriate) to resolve administration issues for the team.
• Review our processes and policies and make proposals for improvement as necessary.
• Interpret day-to-day business objectives and preparation/execution of operational practices/work programs.
• Represent HR in the stakeholders in partnership with the Site HR and HRBPs
Qualifications:
• College Graduate of a 4 year course in Human Resource, Psychology, or behavioral science
• At least 3 to 5 years working experience in HR specifically compensation and benefits and/ or payroll
• At least 2 years of HR supervisory experience
• Highly analytical with keen attention to detail
• Trustworthy on highly confidential matters
• Customer service oriented
• Good communication skills
• Adept in using MS office applications
• Willing to work in Bacolod
• Willingness to work in shifting schedules, including graveyard shift, and render overtime when necessary.
