About the role
BHP Billiton's new Maintenance Centre of Excellence (MCoE) is the coming together of a dedicated, innovative team focused on identifying, achieving and maintaining the highest standards in maintenance for BHP Billiton globally.As a member of our MCoE team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other high performers to redefine the way we execute maintenance at our operations around the world. You will help deliver a safe, significant, and sustained improvement in the performance of our equipment and machinery fleet – from 390 tonne haul trucks to underground rail networks to automated ship loaders, and everything in between. You will utilise innovative approaches, tools and technology to add real value to maintenance – setting new standards to guide improvement activity, transforming services and supporting our people.These globally-focused roles will be performed from our Centre of Excellence, where your diversity of thought and experience will be embraced and you will be empowered to make a real difference to our business.The Centre is seeking a highly motivated individual to ensure that all technical documentation including work instructions relating to Maintenance activities are improved and developed to a standard and uploaded accordingly. Your primary role will be reviewing requests from the operations teams to update technical documents including work instructions and preventive maintenance instruction and update master data as required. Reporting to the Lead Master Data, you will provide a single point of contact for the Centre and operations personnel to update documents as required. This role will ensure that the correct technical documents are updated and loaded into the system.About You
We are seeking applicants that have experience in working with creating and updating technical documents and document management systems. You should pose some understanding of ERP systems such as SAP. An understanding of SAP master data and the dependency between the technical documents and SAP master data is desirable. You will appreciate the need for quality and have exceptional attention to detail. You will have an ability to interpret user requirements and update the documents accordingly. Your ability to work with multiple software packages will ensure you are effective in this role.Your drive to continuously improve technical documents based on the understanding of impacts, is key to being successful in this role. You will be a true team player with a passion for delivering extraordinary results.Qualifications:Degree or equivalent education required
Willing to work night shift
Knowledgeable in SAP and Microsoft Office
Languages: English and Spanish
