We are seeking a Technical Administrator that will be the primary owner for Ariba technical system and data support and optimization. Work collaboratively with IT and those who support key technology applications to ensure optimization. Serves as mentor to other technical administrators.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure that Ariba functionality is fully utilized to drive maximum value for S&P, continuously improving Ariba functionality and ensuring global standardizatio
Ariba system support including, but not limited to:
Report on open / closed ticket status and log enhancement request engaging
oReport on open / closed ticket status and log enhancement request engaging Ariba for technical support as necessary
oSystem & Technology Support: Break / Fix maintenance, troubleshooting, and error correction
oAccess user administration and maintain group assignments
oResolve issues with peripheral systems (i.e. Workday, SAP etc.) and monitoring data uploads
oEnable Ariba modules to support RFx development
oManage the workflow for approval of new catalogs and maintenance of existing catalogs (i.e., pricing, add / subtract items to meet customer requirements)
oEnsure enforcement of standard catalog description and commodity coding, schema and taxonomy by commodity
oAct as key point of contact with Ariba Support on system customizations (i.e., field, system parameter changes)
oProactively prepare for and lead through new system releases and updates
Serve as back up for the other Technical Administrator
Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and stakeholder groups at McKesson Business Units and be an advocate for S&P with the business
Work closely with BU leadership to develop a strategy to grow spend under management and deliver on S&P savings commitments
Act as escalation point for business partner issues and challenges. Act as mediator to provide resolutions in a timely manner
Report at least quarterly to each BU on S&P performance metrics; prepare and present executive presentations
Act as conduit between S&P and Business Units. Promote S&P services and support collaboration activities with Business Units
Work with Enterprise Sourcing Lead, Category Leads, and Category Managers to ensure Business Unit needs and requirements are addressed during sourcing initiatives and day-to-day activities
Join category councils, supplier meetings, and quarterly business reviews when applicable
Minimum Requirements:
Ariba system administrator experience
3 – 5 years technical customer support (internal / external) experience
3 years’ experience in customer relationship management
3 years data analytics experience
3 years queue management experience
3+ years of SAP experience
Critical Skills
Experience in supply chain, specifically source to pay process
Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
Relationship building/Collaboration
Education
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Travel
10 – 25 % travel required to practices and internal meetings.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
