Teacher Fellow

Job Description:
Every year, Teach for the Philippines looks for promising young Filipinos who desire to be leaders for change in our classrooms and public school communities. If you are a Filipino who is passionate about nation-building through education and wants to develop your capacity for leading change through serving others, then we want you.


Our Fellowship Program is a two-year leadership development program that trains and develops promising young Filipino leaders to become lifelong advocates for education. Committing yourself to the Fellowship means:


You become a full-time, fully-paid Teacher Fellow for two years You undergo holistic professional development, personalized coaching and mentoring, as well as a transformative experience to work for and with our school communities You take the first step towards a rewarding career that would contribute to education reform Our movement’s vision for leading change is and will always be para sa bata at para sa bayan. You can lead this change, too – with us.



Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (any field!) Filipino citizenship or proof of eligibility to hold a Philippine passport Strong communication skills, both in English and Filipino We are committed to finding individuals who have: The desire to contribute to nation-building through education The willingness to go where they are needed Alignment with Teach for the Philippines’ Vision, Mission, and Core Values The desire to contribute to making the Philippine public education system become the best that it can be The ability to lead oneself and others in the face of changes and challenges Perseverance and optimism in the face of challenges or ambiguities
