About the opportunity
We are seeking a professional HR consultant for our Philippines operations. In this key role you will partner with the to provide operational and strategic guidance on all HR issues.
Timely implement the HR plan in accordance with the project HR plan and initiatives
Ensure that all HR and people process tools are understood and completed as designated by Group.
Develop, administer and interpret HR policy and procedures and ensure that local policies are in alignment with Group policies
Maintain knowledge of legal and government regulations and requirements affecting human resources functions and ensure policies and procedures are in compliance
Implement programs to meet project needs
Work with Talent Acquisition personnel to recruit, develop and retain the quality and quantity of resources needed for the Company’s operations
Maintain and implement compensation and benefit structure and programs that provide a competitive level of pay and rewards to employees
Manage salary reviews and initiate changes in status of payroll
Establish and maintain external relationships with relevant regulatory, government bodies and labour agencies
Facilitate effective communication between employees and management
Identify training and development needs in conjunction with functional managers
Lead and facilitate employee performance management
Manage employee domestic and international assignments
About you
Bachelor’s degree or above preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or business-related field formal education
Minimum 5 years HR experience preferably with generalist experience
Vast experience and in-depth understanding of interactions with other functions (e.g. Finance, IT, etc.)
Experience working in multi-national companies operating in the Philippines preferred
Knowledge of applicable laws/regulations related to human resources functions in the Philippines
Strong communication and consulting skills
Be able to develop relationships and influence stakeholders in operations and other functions
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attend to details
