Roles and Responsibilities:Use advanced data visualization tools to provide an easy to understand interface for end users to quickly identify key themes within their dataDevelop, design and supporting interactive Tableau dashboard reports and templatesRecommend dashboards per Tableau visualization featuresDeploy dashboard/reports to Tableau server environmentSupport multi environment Tableau infrastructure including server security, troubleshooting and general system maintenanceRefine and enhance the technical architecture to keep pace with changing business demands and new Tableau software releasesAnalyze, troubleshoot and tune product performance or deployment issues when requiredDefine best practices during implementation and integration of Tableau PlatformParticipates in meetings, reviews, and user group discussions as well as communicating with stakeholders and business groups.Qualifications and Skills Required:5-6 years’ experience in IT working on business intelligence and data warehousing projects, with 2 years on Tableau environment4+ years’ experience with data analysis with Tableau platform / products3+ years’ experience working in a data warehouse environment with business intelligence applicationsExtensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization on TableauExperience working on full life cycle development, including design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenanceFamiliarity with concepts of dimensional data models (e.g grain, facts, dimensions, etc.)BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc Computers or equivalentWorking knowledge on Tableau is a must and should be familiar with Tableau setup/ installation and Tableau architectureStrong multi-tasking skillsMust possess analytical skills and be detailed orientedStrong verbal/written communication & data presentation skillsTECHNICAL SKILLS: (Optional)BI/Visualization Tools : Tableau Desktop7.x/8.x, Tableau Server 8.x, CognosProgramming : UNIX ShellUtilities : MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint, MS ProjectDatabases : Oracle 10g/11i, Oracle SQL Server 2008 R2, MS Access, MS ExcelPlatforms : Windows7/8/2003/NT, MS Server 2008 R2, Mac OS, DOS
