Systems Administrator Intern | Makati City

Job Description:
Work under the supervision of a systems admin supervisor Help manage user accounts Maintain fast and reliable computers at the office by debugging and checking the correct upgrade route based on an assessment Perform cable management, manage a backup line and network, and maintain a reliable network by checking weekly for possible line outages Assist in conducting orientation for onboarding employees to make them power users on Asana, TSheets, and other platforms they must use at work Check and quarantine possible malware Assist in ensuring that the company’s security cameras and other security peripherals are constantly functional and online Assist in ensuring that the Internet is constantly running in the office so as to avoid productivity disruptions due to a lost Internet connection Perform other duties related to the role *Allowances will be provided
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled or graduating college students taking up a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology/computer science Must have experience in tackling open source programs Experience related to computer network systems, admin database, and systems security With familiarity or minimal experience in installing and managing systems such as:
Managed services integration or applet experience using platforms such as IFTTT, Zapier, etc. Operating systems (Chrome, Linux, Unix, custom Android ROM, Chromium, etc. Managed services, user management systems and related policies (e.g. G Suite, Office 365, Adobe, etc.)
Squarespace, Asana, Slack, T Sheets, Quickbooks, Wix, etc. All modules in Google Admin (Directory, Devices, Apps, Security, Reporting) and Linux cPanel Good written and verbal communication skills Must demonstrate superior SOFT SKILLS during an interview with HR Good written and verbal communication skills Open to work in Makati
