RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor production tickets assigned to Medical Care Management production incident queues;
- Ensure resolution of all assigned tickets/issues as well as communicate to internal and external stakeholders;
- Work with clients to help them understand issues, root cause, preventive measures, and long-term solution and improvements
-Provide support to development team and testing team for any question they have with respect to the story/requirements
- Perform Run the Business activities and analyze Medical Care Management production issues.
- Serve as an IT/engineering resource for the development, SIT and UAT teams for any question they have regarding environments or application deployments, DevOPs activities, and environment planning.
- Provide patching and systems upgrade support, such as database patches and upgrades, operating system patches and upgrades, and application releases and bug fixes, monitoring day-today processes, timely fixing production problems encountered, performing data fixes, executing Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly batch processes and troubleshooting issues for business users.
- Keep system knowledge base and runbooks up to date, and Barometric IT database information accurate and up to date.
- Perform research and analysis required from system audit activities.
- Performing regular review of existing processes for performance improvement opportunities
Additionally, the System Analyst Advisor will be proficient and expert at
at least one (1) of the following technologies... WebSphere, IIS, Apache Tomcat
and one (1) of the following DB technologies... DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, Oracle
and one (1) of the following Server technologies... Unix, Linux, Windows
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field
-6 or more years related experience
-Innovative and strategic thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
