Job Summary:The Support Engineer is one of the crucial roles in providing good customer experience by properly handling technical-related issues, incidents and service requests.Specific duties and responsibilities:Applies advanced technical expertise using standard operating and diagnostic procedures to resolve issues.Performs issue investigation and fixes.Analyzes and resolves incident reports.Performs service requests.Explores new tools and technologies and develops new ones.Replicates customer reported issues to provide validation of defects to engineering for repeat issues.Participates in product testing to assist in the new product release process.Reviews, validates, and creates internal and external documents for internal dissemination.Analyzes customer calls and cases to identify problems in the field and assess core areas for improvement. Prioritizes these changes to support the reduction of identified issues.Creates knowledge base articles and implements the plan to address common and recurring issues.Track and maintain reports on issues and cases for specific products.Qualifications:3+ years of software development using JavaExperienced in Java EE technologies and Spring frameworksKnowledgeable in DB related technologies such as SQL DDL statements, SQL DML queries, Triggers, Stored Procedure, Replication, etc.Knowledgeable in web related technologies such as HTML, javascript, css, scssBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent technical experience.Knowledgeable in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and AgileGood written and verbal communicationGood analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledgeable in basic accounting conceptsCustomer service skillsFamiliar with Windows and Unix scripting
