Supply Chain/Logistics Engineer

Job Description:
Review and develop processes and procedures to enhance and optimize warehouse logistics operations Conduct Facility and Process Design reviews to secure approvals Specify, procure and oversee the installation of equipment associated with warehouse layout and process design Investigate new technologies & equipment to improve efficiencies of processes Conduct special projects to achieve improved methods, layout and workflow Study opportunities for application of new technologies & equipment to improve efficiencies of processes Collects data and performs statistical analysis Maps and documents processes Recommends and implements process improvement Applies company methodologies and tools to design transportation operations Establishes performance measures Assists in communications with internal and external customers to understand business requirements Supports business development and helps create efficient designs and solutions processes Determines efficient utilization of resources by analyzing utilization charts Assists the Logistics Operations Manage Supply Chain Projects Implement efficient and competitive solutions Applies various Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Logistics/Production Engineering, Industrial Engineer or equivalent Strong work experience of logistics processes Strong communication and analytical skills Good interpersonal, organizational and planning skills Ability to work in a team environment with little supervision Ability to lead the implementation of new processes Six Sigma Certification is a plus. Operational Management Experience Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP WM, …) Over 3-5 years of experience with transport and logistics Amendable to work in Taguig, Cavite, Laguna or Visayas and Mindanao Area. Excellent PC skills in MAPPING ANALYSIS MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
