Our partner is a global manufacturer of industrial components for many industries including aerospace. Having been in business for 100+ years, they have facilities and clients in multiple countries. We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work in their aerospace division near San Fernando, CA.Job Requirements:Duties:responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of methods and programs to ensure that suppliers have systems that meet specifications and standards help lead and support activities concerned with supplier corrective action and continuous improvement improve the performance of the supply base with data-driven analysis and methodical problem solving techniques use quality tools such as auditing, SPC, FMEA contract review, sampling plans, PFMEA, Root Cause Corrective Actions tools, etc.
Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools promote supplier qualityRequirements:Bachelors Degree mandatory... technical degree preferred 7+ years supplier quality experience in an industrial manufacturing company, aerospace or automotive experience preferred Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience Solid understanding of quality systems such as AS9100, ISO 9000, or TS 16949 Working knowledge of PPAP Proven leadership and communication experience with suppliersby Jobble
