1. Establishes and maintains business relationships in the industrial area through effective selection of/and communication with clients.

Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Builds and develops new industrial/commercial/distributor accounts
1.1 Acquires industrial accounts from the following industries: Shipping, Power, Mining, Cemen, Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing
1.2 Establishes corresponding contact persons for purchases of industrial accounts and sets schedules of visit and product or sales presentations
1.3 Identifies customer needs and buying motivations
1.4 Conducts products/sales presentation for prospective clients
1.5 Reviews documents from prospective industrial clients
1.6 Conducts ocular inspections and feasibility studies
1. 7 Prepares business case for customized services and ensures commitment volumes are met
1.8 Prepares credit line endorsement and ensures compliance to company documentary requirements
1.9 Customizes services to cater to specific needs of the customer
1.10 Does value-based selling (Not transactional selling)
1.11 Convinces customers to enter into Supply Agreements

2. Achieves the department's volume target
2.1 Leads inter-departmental meetings to design solutions for the customer to add value to our products and services.
2.2 Manages account officers’ performance in area of responsibility
2.3 Offers price proposal to clients based on approved prices Recommends discounts to customers
2.4 Solicits and places customer orders
2.5 Addresses customer concerns on delivery procedures through coordination with the Operations group
2.6 Updates customers should there be necessary price adjustments
2.7 Updates customers' credit lines should they no longer be applicable
2.8 Monitors competitors' market activities and provides recommendations
2.9 Conducts regular visits to active and prospective customers and follows up on industrial orders/ repeat orders
2.10 Coordinates collection schedules for outstanding customer accounts with approved credit lines
2.11 Prepares monthly performance reports for assigned area

3. Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Preferred Qualifications for the Role:

College graduate preferably with a Business degree or Engineering/Technical degree
Has a driver's license ; knows how to drive manual transmission
With at least 4 years’ B2B sales experience preferably from the target industries mentioned, including petroleum, shipping, power, mining, cement, construction, agriculture
Has to have a network of industrial accounts, clients in the industrial industries (shipping, power and energy, transport, manufacturing, agricultural)
B2B selling experience; keyword is “solution-selling”
Having an experience selling lubricants is a plus.
Experience in managing a sales team is an advantage
Highly adaptive to a dynamic sales and marketing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Very good English written and verbal communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Understanding of basic P&L.
Sales Pipeline management (database of leads) experience is an advantage.
Expectations from Candidates:

Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.

Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.

In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
