Location: This is Hybrid opportunity of once a week onsite. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

TheStatusing Specialistis responsible for the procurement and process application as it supports Insight's operations and order fulfillment. This will include working operational issues with suppliers, providing strong client service, and maintaining data accuracy within SAP. The statusing specialist will be empowered to review open orders, maintain ETA's, and update tracking information. In addition, this individual will be responsible for management of back-order switching, supporting, and training other members of the team and being able to place PO's. Teamwork with internal and external departments is necessary to ensure achievement of overall team goals.

As Statusing Specialist, you will get to be responsible for:

Responsible for obtaining vendor estimated ship dates from vendor websites
Responsible for utilizing multiple mediums to connect with vendors to obtain vendor estimated ship dates and other information as necessary
Review daily vendor reporting and apply the required information to the backlog
Post supplier tracking and invoice information within SAP and close open orders by processing the goods receipt
Respond to general sales requests including lead time, pricing, and general vendor inquiries within allotted service levels (SLAs)
Meet daily goals for number of backlog lines completed
Management of data integrity across area of responsibility and reporting system or data integrity issues
Working knowledge of PO creation, stocking strategies, and basic MRP processes
Backup other team members in their absence by having knowledge and cross training of their programs and job functions
Partner with other statusing specialists and buyers to resolve PO and backlog related issues
Partner with team lead or supervisor to ensure consistent coverage of the backlog is maintained during absences, vacations, etc.
Oversee back order switching inclusive of negotiating pricing, cutting new PO's, and cancelling of PO's
Go-to teammate for backup support outside of their respective role
Ensure the team is meeting their daily goals for backlog and supporting the team lead and supervisor in addressing challenges related to that goal
Utilize Microsoft Teams and Email for correspondence with teammates and vendors in a timely manner
Other procurement duties as assigned
