Key Responsibilities:
• General Accounting: Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR): Supervise the management of AP and AR, manage of issuing monthly billing for more than 80 clients, ensuring timely payments and collections, accurate data entry, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Payroll: Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
Review payroll reports and assist with audits.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Provide insights into financial performance and support business decision-making.
• Internal Controls: Ensure effective internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets, reduce financial risks, and comply with applicable accounting regulations and standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Provide recommendations to senior management based on financial performance.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including the preparation of tax returns and assisting with audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance financial reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
• With potential for promotion to Accounting Manager with leadership responsibilities over the accounting team.
