As a member of the Platform Services product team, the Product Manager, User Provisioning will be responsible for delivering world-class functionality on aggressive schedules that will be used every day by clients anywhere. This position will focus primarily on the Everbridge Platform, which powers the Everbridge product portfolio, but offers an opportunity to collaborate with global teams focused on solving a broad range of Critical Event Management use cases in numerous markets.
You will be part of a team delivering creative solutions to complex and nuanced problems. A successful candidate will blend technical knowledge of user authentication and management, account provisioning, and analytical skills with strong business judgement, be able to be highly effective under self-direction, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, easy-to use-products that users love.
What you'll do:
Collaborate very closely with other Product Managers to deliver a first-class service to internal and external stakeholders.
Meet with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to understand the problems they face and drive cross-functional, internal alignment to deliver products that exceed their expectations.
Work with cross-functional teams to perform competitive analysis, contribute to go-to-market activities, and help teams understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target end-user.
Work closely with the Engineering counterparts to create scalable and modern solutions.
Provide technical evaluation, recommendation, and selection of third-party products and suppliers needed for the overall solution.
Define and fully document all requirements in the form of epics and stories.
Evaluate and prioritize client-reported and partner-reported issues.
Manage Scrum Team backlog based on project priorities.
Prepare and groom all project tickets with the Scrum Team.
Track and report on KPIs that are shared with Everbridge Senior Management Team
Identify and manage to outcomes and success criteria
Host internal meetings to present new projects, to present status or to train internal stakeholders.
Collaborate on release notes, client- and partner-facing product documentation, and training material.
Collect and analyze product feedback from internal stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Collaborate with other Product Management team members in roadmap and release planning.
What you'll bring:
3+ years of overall product experience delivering products & working with clients and partners in a SaaS environment.
3+ years of direct experience with user authentication, user management and account provisioning within a
SaaS-based high-performance software platform.
2+ years of direct experience as a product owner, technical product manager or another scrum team role with
SaaS software platforms offering authentication and authorization services consisting of loosely coupled microservices, and enabling federated user access controls.
Direct experience developing and implementing authentication and authorization frameworks.
Experience as a developer looked on favorably.
Excellent English communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills.
Strong experience analyzing large data sets and correlating information from different sources
Experience working with teams in various locations around the world.
Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and software development processes in a fast-paced cloud software environment.
Experience with training internal stakeholders on use of software solutions for achieving use case goals.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand new and evolving web technologies.
Entrepreneurial, can-do approach coupled with an ardent desire to make a difference
Proficient in driving for results with a sense of accountability and ability to change pace and focus due to dynamic ecosystem.
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
