Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide expert HR and commercial knowledge to partner strategically with the business andto lead and manage the talent acquisition strategy and hire the very best talent into the organisation.The business partnering role is aligned to the business’ values and business strategy and achieves commercial goals through the delivery and implementation of people strategies. The role could be generalist in nature or focussed on a particular specialism within HR, for example, Employee Relations. The role will partner closely with the expert network and depending on the resourcing could be performing expert responsibilities more hands on.

As a Talent Acquisition (TA) lead, working closely with a team of recruiters and stakeholders and people managers to prompt and promote thinking in order to create relevant and effective recruitment plans. The role will be an ambassador of the employer brand, candidate experience, talent mobility and commercial third party supplier relationships to ensure we attract and hire the right people and capabilities to deliver business goals now and in the future.

Key Accountabilities
HR strategy. Supports development and delivery of market/client group HR strategy and leads the communication, implementation and measurement of key people initiatives and programmes within own business area in order to support a vibrant, fast-paced and high-performance culture
Senior Business Relationships. Builds strong partnerships and acts as a confidante, coach and constructive challenger to stakeholders
Talent Strategy & Management. Uses career and talent framework to develop the careers of our employees through roles and assignments that will provide unique opportunities to build experience and skills
Business Management. Has a clear understanding of the organisational capabilities and how best to develop those capabilities through the HR strategy. Develops a robust understanding of business financial performance and commercials. Provides inputs to the budget and planning process as needed
Change Management. Leads and/or supports business leaders in key organisational change management initiatives (M&A’s, organisational culture change, business process re-engineering, reorganisations). Supports the senior managers and HR Director in change of organisation design and resource management as needed
Career Development. Works with our line leaders, leveraging the framework provided by the talent team to ensure that engaging career development plans are developed and implemented for our employees
Performance Development. Drives an effective approach to performance development with line leaders. Supports business leaders in providing effective feedback to motivate high performers and improve poor performers or deal with the lack of performance as needed
Employee Relations. Solves key employee issues which might pose a significant risk to the business and organisation in own business area
Vision and Values. Ensures that our people practices are effective in embedding and reinforcing our values and that we develop our leaders to be strong ambassadors of the vision and values
Employee Engagement. Mobilises commitment and accountability for employee engagement through senior managers and acts as a support and advisor for line leaders in the area of Employee engagement. Leverages insights from Check In Survey
Diversity. Champions a more diverse workplace by acting on HR initiatives that will drive change
Assists in standardizing talent acquisition programs and processes in collaboration with the market HR Director, business/function leaders, and HRBP
Partners with market HR director, HRBPs and individual team members to define overall team and performance goals across the team; motivate team to achieve goals
Builds talent acquisition’s reputation through positive interactions with candidates and external consultants or other related organizations, such as career centers at colleges, government agencies, etc.
Executes strategic approach to achieve company goals in attracting and engaging top diverse talent
Manages talent acquisition function in a growing, global organization working within dentsu service lines to ensure roles are filled in a timely manner, typically <=45 days for junior level, <=60 days for manager level and 90 days + for director and above
Uses data, analytics, insights and reports to support formation of hiring strategy and implementation of hiring plans
Manages acquisition team to meet business/function hiring needs and to control budget

Experience and Professional Skills
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in generalist HR role with progressive responsibilities in managing multiple business units in MNC. Prior experiences in one or more of the following functions preferred--Reward, Talent Development and Training, Talent Acquisition, ER, HR Shared services or Operations, etc. – are preferred.
Well rounded capability across the full HR spectrum (including but not limited to talent acquisition, development and training, compensation and benefits, performance management, labor relations, talent management, succession planning).
Ability to champion and drive OD initiatives that build the talent, culture, and capabilities needed to support the business needs.
Sound knowledge of local labour law and ability to advise on practical application at both the organization and individual levels
Strong talent acquisition skills ability to be innovative in developing strategies that reinforce our employer brand and allow us to attract top talent in a fast changing digital market.
An agile learner and thirst for knowledge
Multitasking and be able to manage complex people issues under pressure and time constraints
Successful experience in leading and implementing HR projects
Proven record of managing changes
Understanding Talent & OD, and Reward processes
Be able to work independently and as a team and deliver quality work with minimum supervisor
Experienced in a global, highly matrix organization are preferred
