Sr. Electronics Prototyping Engineer

The Electronics Product Development Center (EPDC) of DOST is looking for an experienced electronics design engineer with PC based and embedded systems experience for its development projects. Such projects may include light mechanical activities. As part of a team, he may also assist engineers and technicians doing design and prototyping needs of customers in PCB layout and design, PCB fabrication, board assembly, and related prototyping services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in electronics circuit design, prototyping, PCB design and fabrication, board assembly and test, using manual and mechanized tools, test instruments, and
CAD and simulation tools.
• Must have at least 10 years work experience in the electronics industry of which at least 3 years was in PCB and prototyping work, and at least 4 years as a senior design
or development engineer or team leader.
• Goal-oriented, and can communicate well in oral and written English.
• Preferably residing in Taguig City
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Delivers prototyping and product related services to its customers, and when needed, in cooperation with other units in EPDC.
• Accomplishes results by scoping the project, designing and developing the system, testing, delivering the product or service, and other activities needed for a successful
output for the customer.
• Works with customers in getting the job done.
• Evaluates, acquires and manages resources, technologies and processes, needed to deliver the project.
