Illumina is looking for an exceptional Business Analyst to support our Global Quality and Operations Organization.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in creating automated reporting, dashboards, content, intranet web designs, as well as connecting enterprise system data to provide insights and reporting for our Business Operations and global continuous improvement program. In addition, this role would be responsible for managing the development and deployment of a suite of CI system/software solutions to support our workforce towards a seamless engagement in actioning our most impactful improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sites, Global Functions, Value Streams, Workstreams, and the Global Continuous Improvement team to deliver automated reporting solutions.
Retrieve data from various systems and prepare it for wider consumption.
Transform data into reports, charts, presentations.
Transform process into informational and interactive web-based content.
Interact with key business functions to confirm data quality policies and governed attributes.
Gather and Develop Use Case Requirements from Stakeholders
Take initiative to develop and implement new processes to strengthen data accuracy or enhance efficiency.
Lead or lend expertise in various cross-functional jobs/efforts.
Identify and implement corrective measures for data or process errors.
Support creation and maintenance of intra-departmental policies, processes, and procedures, and web content.
Demonstrate effective communication style working with all levels of organizational structure, through multiple departments, and across global sites.
Performs other job duties as required/assigned.
Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Facilitate cross functional technical discussions.
Act as technical SME lead towards large scale global GQO digital project needs.
Requirements:
2-5 years’ experience working with large data sets in a manufacturing, supply chain, or business operations environment.
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Systems/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or related technical field.
Ability to understand data in whatever format it’s presented, and effectively communicate the story it tells.
Experience with business intelligence solutions for data consolidation and analysis.
Familiarity with Tableau, SAP, SQL.
Expert user of Excel, proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Write Excel macros, expert in Tableau, familiar with Atlassian web-based services; document and analyze process test results.
Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguous requirements, adapt, and learn.
Must be a self-starter, with relentless curiosity and attention to detail.
Detail oriented, proactive, works independently, works well with others.
Flexible, able to adapt quickly to change, work overtime as needed
High degree of initiative and ownership, as well as a proven history of delivering results while working with several different departments in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
