The winning candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision on various frontend, middleware and backend code. He/she will also be leading a team of developers to support various applications in addition to aligning with onshore engineers. The job is based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.Key job responsibilities include:Review and understand software requirements, technical, and functional specification documents to develop and modify code as defined.Develop complex application business logic using Java and related technologies (JSP, Angular, Hibernate, Spring).Demonstrated ability to multi¬task.Troubleshoot and fix issues as identified in prioritized backlog.Ability to figure out root cause when little to no documentation/logs are available on particular issue.Key job requirement includes:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldJava certification is a plus6-10 years developing Java web applications6-10 years of HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience (including XML, JSON)6-10 years working with Oracle (advanced SQL skills)Ability to create/modify REST web services written in JavaTeam player with a “get it done" attitude.Motivated self¬-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.Ability to quickly learn new ideas and concepts.Detail oriented and thorough.Proven ability to lead and grow a team.
