Software Engineer (Manila) SUMMARY Our client is one of the largest global private equity firms, with more than Euro 80 billion in assets under their management across 20 offices worldwide. They are currently looking to bring onboard a Software Engineer for their growing team.
As Application Support Specialist within the Corporate Applications team, you are responsible for the administration of the corporate system landscape (combination of core HR, Finance and Compliance systems operated in the cloud as well as legacy applications running on premise) and the related interface framework. You will work closely with business users, other teams within IT as well as third party providers such as SAP and near shore developers to implement additional system requirements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support of the business users globally to find solutions for their questions and requests related to the corporate applications utilized for HR, Finance and Compliance.
Support the business in ensuring data quality including coordination of data and business process changes with other teams across the firm.
Responsible for implementation of new business requirements leveraging the regularly delivered cloud releases within assigned projects / applications.
Review of current processes with a view to further improve them to gain operational efficiency.
2nd and 3rd level support including escalation and ticket monitoring with external providers (e.g. SAP).
Act as IT contact for cloud applications providers (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Concur).
Participate and assist on business projects.
Close interaction with the corporate Business Intelligence team to build and enhance the internal data warehouse for data analysis and reporting purposes.
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s in Information Technology or related fields
4-6 years' experience as applications specialist responsible for production environment with a strong focus on technical aspects and interfaces
Service and solution oriented working style and capable to deal with confidential data
Strong business know-how in Finance required. Know-how of Human Resources is a plus
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA public cloud, SuccessFactors, Concur, Qliksense is a plus
Knowhow on database management especially with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced SQL skills to support business processes
Advanced Excel user

Accurate, effective and independent working style
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of flexibility, the ability to work under pressure as well as very good language skills in English (written / oral)
