Responsibilities:
• Designs and builds successful solutions for Oracle NetSuite platform. Develops new techniques to create features and capabilities with highest level of quality, performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Implements next generation front-end architecture.
• Manages multiple teams. Assigns and facilitates team members to fully complete tasks and goals on time.
• Recruits high performers; provides performance feedback, creates and delivers performance reviews on a regular basis.
• Work includes 50% on technical activities (code and design reviews, architecture discussions) and 50% on managerial activities (stakeholder and partner engagement, program co-ordination, developing a team of strong performers).
Required skill set:
• Minimum 10 years industry experience in software/product development domain.
• 2+ years experience managing direct reports.
• Passionate about technology and ability to design and architect solutions.
• Proficient and capable of reviewing code/implementation in any one programming language.
• Independent decision making for solutions or workarounds to technically complex problems.
• Dynamic, bold and decisive stakeholder management.
• Drive engineering excellence by adoption of tools and technologies targeted at long-term software stability and quality.Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience.Detailed Description and Job Requirements
