Nasdaq is currently looking for Enterprise Resource Planning Technical Specialists who will be the primary functional and technical support of Nasdaq’s custom internal corporate financial applications. This position will provide application maintenance, configuration, and support for Nasdaq’s Workday Financials application.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts, and implements custom internal corporate financial applications;
Reviews system requirements and business processes - codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions;
Performs as Subject Matter Expert on the in-scope functionalities of custom financial applications;
Receives, analyzes, processes, manages, and addresses technical and functional user inquiries and requests;
Performs/participates in Incident Management, Problem Management, Risk and Issue Management, and Continuous Improvement Activities on issues and recurring issues and incidents;
Participates in various phases of Software Development Lifecycle;
Adheres to established processes to ensure quality of deliverables;
Modifies existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or enhance product usability;
Ensures that applications are compatible across multiple platforms and browsers;
May be developing as a generalist and become more involved in various aspects of a project including firmware, hardware, architecture, database warehouse and mining, database design and analysis, software development and testing.
Requirements:
At least five (5) years of experience in working with .NET platform, SQL Server Reporting, and Integration Services (SSRS and SSIS);
Two plus (2+) years of Financial ERP experience a plus; i.e. PeopleSoft Financials, Workday, Oracle, or SAP;
Experience in building web services APIs (SOAP, REST, JSON);
Basic knowledge of .Net/C#, C/C++, C#;
Strong working knowledge of SQL;
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience;
Experience working in both Application Development and Production Support environments;
Experience in business systems analysis across multiple business processes and/or business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of systems with demonstrated mastery of system and business knowledge and understanding of multiple discipline/processes related to the position;
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally within a global environment;
Willingness to work during Continental Europe Time zone (mid shift).
