Software Developer

Job Description:
The Software Developer plays a key role in the design, development, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems. The created programs are to help the business be more efficient and provide a better service. He/She must do the following tasks:


Ensures that all enterprise level information systems are maintained properly and responsibly Oversees all software project development and deployment Develops and debugs software programs as per internal customer specifications Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the existing SPMMC information systems Schedules and perform the procedures that ens­­ure that all enterprise level information systems and related databases are maintained properly and responsibly Caters and accommodates to all software related help desk or service tickets Works with other IT project teams to help implement internal systems Coordinates with the different Manufacturing Section and/or Departments regarding the implementation and maintenance of the information system infrastructure. Carry out troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support on systems when necessary Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.) Minimum Qualifications:
A graduate of B.S. Computer Engineering, B.S. Information Technology, B.S. Electronics and Communication Engineering or any equivalent/related course. Position holder should have minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Software Development Life Cycle. Able to plan and execute tasks Knowledgeable in software development lifecycle Well versed in Java, JavaScript, PHP, and other related development tools Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks Laravel, Code Igniter, Yii and ETC Understanding of MVC design patterns Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Must be willing to work in Makati City
