You will execute medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Reporting to Service Manager and deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities at ABB Parañaque City; Philippines.
Your responsibilities
Performing medium to high complex Service tasks like installation , commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc.). Ensuring customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation and creating, maintaining a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifying new sales opportunities and takes influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio. Coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities and preparing standard lists for ease of work. Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed and creating standards or job durations. Proactively identifying potential equipment failures and proactive corrective actions and troubleshooting complex equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Identifying suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discusses them with management for changes. Ensures that HSE practices are of high standard. Works to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents and consistently applying functional processes considering links to other teams.
Your background
Degree or Diploma in Engineering related discipline Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Automation & Controls Systems Good understanding of HMI, DCS, Scada, PLC, IT, OT, P&ID, Safety & automation systems. Preferable knowledge in ABB Automation Systems (800xA / Symphony S+) Experience in Maintenance / Testing & commissioning / FAT / SAT in Automation System. Preferable working experience in Oil, Gas & Chemical plant/ Offshore/ Power & Water Industries.. Flexibility to travel
