Job Description:
The Service Data Development organization with our Global Dealer Services Division create and deliver the service options for dealer service of Caterpillar products. Service Data is the core information that Dealer’s leverage to repair machines and engines.
Parts & Svc Mktg Consultant position that will be accountable for managing the maintenance of service data applications that include service data repository titled Servicedata.cat.com, support and retirement for legacy applications Builder G3 and Calculator Desktop, defining and managing the development and implementation of enhancements to Cat Calculator Web and Cat Service Option Collaborator, internal deployment and support of Cat Calculator Web and Cat Service Option Collaborator.
This position will also provide testing strategy and support of our tools to ensure there is an end-to-end business view of the service data applications and that the systems work together as designed.
Engage with end users to support training and deployment needs of new service data systems. Help to identify future improvements to the service data system tools.
Collect and develop requirements for service data system enhancement through collaboration with key process partners and the Cat Digital technical owners. This includes participation in strategic projects to determine the future of service data and the application enhancements required.
Determine the strategy for the utilization of servicedata.cat.com compared to other sources where service data is stored.
Manage support and eventually the change management, communications, and retirement of legacy systems to ensure that systems are properly shut down.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of progressively responsible work experience
At least 3+ years of leading projects that span multiple Business Divisions
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Previous experience working directly with dealers and/or customers in parts or product support capacity
Previous experience working with service data (Builder Files), using Builder G3/SOC or creating parts and service information.
Experience in leading large, global project and or teams
High level of interpersonal, communication, process management, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
Self-starter and driven
Innovative with solutions to solve problems
Experience and demonstrated knowledge of Caterpillar products, services, systems , processes and procedures
Familiarity of SIS, parts.cat.com, OLGA and other consumers of service data
Relocation offered to Peoria, IL
