Reports To: Regional Manager/District Manager Job Family: Retail / Store Management / Customer Service Summary: We are seeking a results-driven and customer-centric Retail Store Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our (Store Location) store.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers while maximizing sales and profitability.
You will lead and motivate a team of retail associates, manage inventory, implement sales strategies, and ensure that the store operates efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities: Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting a customer-centric culture.
Ensure that the store consistently meets or exceeds sales targets and profitability goals.
Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Create a welcoming and engaging store environment that encourages customer loyalty.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Delegate tasks effectively and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure that staff members adhere to company policies and procedures.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and maximize inventory accuracy.
Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize stock levels and ensure product availability.
Operations and Store Maintenance: Ensure efficient store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and store security.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Oversee store maintenance and address any facility-related issues promptly.
Manage store budgets, control costs, and analyze financial performance to drive profitability.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve financial results.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sales Growth: Track year-over-year sales growth and compare to targets.
Customer Satisfaction: Measure customer satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and online reviews.
Inventory Turnover: Monitor the rate at which inventory is sold and replenished.
Profit Margins: Track profit margins and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Retention: Measure employee satisfaction and retention rates.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry.
Deep understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, sales strategies, and customer service.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in the specific industry or product category of the store.
