Key Responsibilities:Implement network engineering projects primarily within the Asia Pacific region
Ensure engineering projects are transitioned to the network operations team following the company's Permit to Operate process
Provide L3 technical support for company's global network infrastructure
Ensure all changes to production follow the company's Permit to Operate process and adhere to Change Control processes
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, working with customers and third-party suppliers
Resolve incidents, requests and changes in a timely manner, including escalations
Provide mentoring and support for L1/L2 engineers in Network Operations
Contribute to knowledge sharing by maintaining accurate documentation and KB articles
Assist with reporting requirements, including performance and capacity planning
Requirements for the Role:
Technical
Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, preferably including Qos, MPLS, Multicast, Nexus & ACI
Strong knowledge of firewall platforms & VPN technologies
Strong knowledge of application & content delivery platforms
Strong knowledge of network management tools, including Solarwinds
Strong knowledge of packet level troubleshooting with Wireshark
Good knowledge of Voice applications including CUCM & SfB
Good knowledge of automation tools including Ansible and Python.

Experience3+ years’ experience in an engineering role supporting global enterprise networks
Experience working in Financial Services, either directly or through a service provider
Knowledge and experience of ITIL working practices, including change management
Qualifications
Educated to degree level in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Minimum Experienced Cisco CCNP qualified with CCIE being desirable (now or in the future)
Check Point CCSE and ITIL Foundation highly desirable
