Senior Mechanical Engineer

Directly supervises the MEP Mechanical Team and in charge of monitoring/overseeing detailed designs and calculations of MEP projects including but not limited to HVAC, MPFS Designs, and Plumbing, Fire Protection, Irrigation, Construction and AutoCAD works of Electromechanical Designs. Carry out reviews of the technical design work and design checking for projects in accordance with the MEP project specifications, lead time and quality targets.Prepare technical recommendations in coordination with team members and Head Quarter counterparts.Works towards the completion of identified projects making sure all requirements are adhered to as well as the resources and other design tools are utilized efficiently and effectively and all projects are finished on time as per schedule.Coordinates with Head Office’s Senior Designers and other disciplines to ensure collaboration with other disciplines for coordination, correctness and compliance with the company/project standardsAssists the Branch Manager in leading the MEP teams and technical issues. With strong background/knowledge of the international design standards codes (European/US)Performs duties and other functions as may be directed by the Employer from time to time.cCandidate must possess at least Professional License in Mechanical Engineering At least 8 years of working experience in the related field and 3-5 years working experience in Supervisory/Managerial role.Required technical skills: Mechanical HVAC Analysis Design, Fire Protection/ Fire Fighting System, Plumbing/Sanitary Systems, Irrigation/Surface Water Drainage, MPFS Design, and Management Skills.Proficient with design software including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD, BIM ELITE, Pipe Flow, HAP, Sketch-Up and Microsoft office tools.Significant overseas experience, specifically Middle East/Gulf projects is required.With strong background strong knowledge of design codes and familiarity with international design standards such as European, UK, US, and UAE/Qatar Design CodesGood collaboration skills and results-oriented.
