With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world's most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:To lead the design of landscape projects and coordinate with discipline leads to ensure quality delivery of design solution and package is achievedTo manage and lead project teams in the collection and analysis of data, the development of design solutions and documentation of the findings in a format appropriate to the end usersTo guide or lead the development of successful client outcomes through service excellence across multiple capability areas aligned to Arcadis' valuesProvide a controlling design role on medium sized to moderately complex assignmentRole accountabilities:Lead the development of landscape design in accordance with clients' needs, project goals, and environmental sustainability principles.Integrate sustainable design practices into every project, such as water conservation, native plant selection, and green infrastructure.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainable landscape design.Ensure that all landscape designs comply with local, state and federal regulations to obtain necessary permits and approvals.Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies and materials in landscape architecture.Attend workshops, conferences and seminars to expand your knowledge and skills.
Share this knowledge to the team by providing trainings and workshops.Manage multiple landscape projects simultaneously, from initial client meetings to construction completion.Develop project schedules, budgets, and oversee project teams, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Work collaboratively with other sectors/disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution and to resolve complex technical issues.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their vision and goals for the project.Present design proposals, provide expert advice and address client feedback to achieve a shared vision.Develop and review proposal submissions to contribute to the preparation of high-quality winning bids.Manage the production and quality assure project deliverables to ensure that these meet or exceed client expectations and Arcadis requirements and comply with national standards and codes of practice.Manage the performance of team members, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues.Lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development.Identify opportunities for Arcadis process improvements that improve quality and/or improve efficiency.Further develop and maintain a good understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis and the industry sector to facilitate personal networking in the company.Perform role in accordance with Arcadis behavioural framework.Promote and role model Arcadis Health and Safety Principles during the planning and delivery of work.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent in an Architecture related discipline – Landscape Architecture graduate preferred; Architecture graduate with extensive experience in landscape architecture are encouraged to apply.Licensed professional status preferred.International experience is preferred.With strong background in landscape design and coordination in a multi-disciplinary setting.Minimum 7 years of experience with strong portfolio demonstrating design proficiency.Proficiency in CAD and Adobe Creative Suite.Knowledge in Revit, Navisworks and 3D modelling software is a major advantage.Leadership and mentoring skills.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
