The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the company's financial guidelines while securing enthusiastic engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for regional project and group stakeholders. It makes sure that the financial activities guided decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon. This opening is for the new migration of the Argentina Project Controlling.
Responsibilities
-Carry out the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines.
-Ensure that process controls are carried out and applicable compliance requirements are in place.
-Perform timely monthly closing procedures such as inventory valuation, factory/project performance reports and analysis, cost of poor quality, slow moving stock and reclassification of indirect production cost to inventory.
-To perform standard and ad hoc analytics report to assess business profitability, factory financial performance that are key in enabling business decisions.
-To identify, suggest and implement improvement on current tasks and participate in Global optimisation
-Effectively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
Qualification
-Bachelor's degree in any Accounting or Finance courses
-At least 5 years work experience in Controlling & Reporting or any equivalent finance functions
-Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desired
-Good communication and presentation skills
-Flexible in work shifting schedules
Competencies
-Has good finance, audit or accounting background
-Has knowledge on accounting guidelines and principles such as IAS and GAAP
-Knowledgeable in process documentation, simplification and standardization
-Proficient in using Microsoft office software
-Knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems
-Stakeholder management and business partnering
