Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for collecting business requirements and design documentation from architects and develop reliable ETL pipelines using Matillion.
Leverage monitoring tools to track status of ETL Pipelines for performance and completion.Responsible for the transition of documentation, security, development and testing of all procedures in the EDW.Responsible to train new staff on ETL architecture, ETL standards and ETL documentation.Responsible for the coordination of the production, development and sandbox environments.Responsible for coordinating releases with Devops team and prepare the required documentation related to release.Execute unit tests and validating expected results; iterating until test conditions have passed.Participate in peer code reviews.Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to aid testing at scale, where possible.Participate in routine maintenance, performance tuning and support of ETL and the DW Environment.
Skills / Qualifications:At least 5 years’ experience in ETL that involves the ff:
o Enterprise level ETL development, using 1 to 2 tools like Informatica OR Pentaho Kettle OR Microsoft SSIS OR Talend OR Matillion OR AWS Glue etc (Matillion is highly advantageous)o Enterprise class relational data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake or Postgres or Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle etc. (Snowflake is highly advantageous)2+ years of experience with 1 to 2 Enterprise level Data Visualization Tools such as Power BI OR Tableau OR MicroStrategy OR Pentaho BI etc.Experience with relational and dimensional data modelingProficient with SQL and stored procedures.Experience building DataWarehouse, data marts with various source systems like SAP, SFDC, Eloqua etc.Experience in working under a structured project management framework.Very fast learner – able to assimilate new technical skills/systems in a very short time.Ability to deliver work to schedule (capable to self-manage workload and priority effectively).Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.Excellent problem-solving skillsGood leadership capabilities
