Senior Consultant Accounting graduate (CPA preferred) with a minimum of three complete years post qualification experience
Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work in a virtual environment
Effective communication skills – both written and verbal English needs to be very high standard
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Your key responsibilities
Financial statement work
Review draft statutory financial statements for EY country teams and assist in training staff to prepare these
Review roll-forward standard information request and compliance calendar
Validate data for global statutory reporting and tax compliance engagements
Perform high-level review of tax summary reconciliation for EY country teams
Manage and coordinate the delivery of compliance services by EY teams in the region
Actively establish, maintain and strengthen relationships both internally within the EY network and externally with clients to help ensure that the services EY delivers to the clients are timely and of the highest standards
Be responsible for the day-to-day management of client engagements which includes monitoring the progress of EY deliverables with use of our web-based compliance tracking tool, putting in place standardised best practices and processes, anticipating and identify risks and issues in the service delivery, escalating issues as appropriate as well as drive performance-improvement solutions
Management accounting work
Use bookkeeping software including Oracle, MS Navision to review month end; quarter end; year end management accounts prepared by junior staff; assist in the training and development of the junior staff;
Understanding and posting of journals;
Review of account reconciliations prepared by junior staff;
