TaguigAs an Elevate Senior Commercial Attorney, you will be an attorney on a dedicated team of legal professionals providing commercial legal and contract management services to a multinational customer. You will provide transactional support, including reviewing, redlining, drafting, negotiating, formatting and managing obligations for a wide variety of commercial agreement types. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support, tracking and reporting on relevant metrics, and helping to drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.

Specifically you will:
Be responsible for supporting the contracting needs of business teams including drafting, negotiating, and managing the agreements.
Negotiate complex agreements, handle escalations and contracting resolutions, and provide quality control.
Serve as a business partner and contracting expert for the legal department.
Update, harmonize or develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, guidelines, and other contract infrastructure tools.
Work with Elevate's subject matter experts to continuously improve quality and efficiency by introducing process, technology, and right sourced resourcing.
Experience:
7+ years of commercial legal experience in an in-house legal department or with a law firm.
Legal practice focused on commercial transaction support.
Experience working with multinational companies and supporting business clients and legal teams in all geographic regions.
Experience with contracting process tools and infrastructure, workflow management, and metrics.
Excellent track record in previous client support/customer service engagements
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of the contract technology landscape, including contract lifecycle management software and workflow tools
Experience with Microsoft Products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Qualifications:
Degree in Law from a reputed university in the Philippines
Degree in Law (LL.M or JD from the U.S. or UK, a plus, but not required.)
Very good understanding of contracting law (under the common law standards)
Knowledge/understanding of commercial aspects of contracts
Experience in dealing with multicultural teams
Additional foreign language skills definitely a plus, but not required.
