The Role:
As a Senior Clinical Manager for this leading organisation in aged care services you will be leading a team of other nursing staff and provide strong clinical governance. Possessing strong communication skills, you will interact with, and supervise the members of your nursing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Consumer Care and Services, you will show your experience with ACFI and Accreditation.
In this role you will ensure that assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans and regimes for our residents are undertaken by the clinical team throughout their journey with us, from admission through to discharge.
You will also lead the care and services team ensuring that professional knowledge and skills of staff meet resident needs, coordinate care in a collegiate and collaborative approach with all clinicians and ensure resources management is appropriate.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Current AHPRA nurse registration and Police Check
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
Proven Aged Care clinical management experience
Sound clinical and documentation skills
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
ACFI experience desirable and Knowledge of accreditation standards
A passion for aged care – flexible and empathetic
Excellent clinical and organisational skills
Excellent computer skills
Experience in strategic planning
Experience in cost management / reduction in aged care organisations and generating income from Commonwealth funding schemes
Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience in designing, developing & implementing new/improved operational processes and systems for clinical care
Successfully pass a Physical Assessment and maintain physical ability to perform inherent duties of role
Maintain a current First Aid Certificate
